Pandemonium

Suzuka, Japan. Schumacher and Alonso had arrived in a tie in points, although Schumacher had the lead in number of races won. Big surprise: Schumacher’s engine broke down, left oil on the track for several hundred meters, and abandoned. Alonso has stepped on the highest place in the podium and right now, with the same number of victories, he is 10 points ahead of the German pilot.

We still have Brazil, Interlagos. The only chance for Schumacher to win the championship is to finish first, and Alonso would have to abandon in that case.
